Update to our appointment system

From Monday 5th January, our appointment system is changing to improve access to appointments, whilst continuing to operate safely.

Urgent appointments can no longer be requested via SystmConnect. If you need an urgent appointment for today, please call the surgery on 01909500233 to speak to our care navigation team. Our team will book an appointment for you with the appropriate clinician so that you know the exact plan once the call ends. On occasion, we may reach capacity for dealing with urgent on-the-day requests. When this happens, you will be direct to an appropriate service, e.g. NHS 111, A&E or a walk-in centre.

Non-Urgent appointments should be submitted via SystmConnect. Our GPs will triage your request and offer you the most appropriate appointment. This could be with a GP, a nurse, a Clinical Practitioner or a pharmacist. They may also direct you to other services if appropriate, for example a musculoskeletal service.

You can submit non-urgent requests from 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Your request may not receive an immediate appointment depending on availability. You will not need to submit another request – your request will be held in a queue, and one will be offered when available.
