Non-urgent advice: Out of Hours Service

When we are closed, patients should contact 111 for medical advice. A dedicated call centre will deal with your enquiry and advise as necessary. You may be offered an appointment to attend the Bassetlaw Hospital or be dealt with immediately as necessary.

In a life-threatening emergency, you should call 999. Chest pains, severe shortness of breath, severe abdominal pain or signs of a stroke are examples of an emergency.

Normal opening hours

Our normal opening hours are 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Please check each site for their specific opening hours, as they do differ.

Our Larwood site is open 9am to 5pm on Saturdays for pre-booked appointments only.

All sites are closed on Sundays.

Protected Learning Time Days

Nottinghamshire practices have one day for professional development and learning. On these days, practices close in the afternoon. Online requests are suspended for the day, and telephone calls are restricted to urgent phone calls only. More information is available on a pre-recorded telephone message which activates on the day.
