You may want to request a medication which is not on your repeat prescription list. For some medications a consultation with a GP is necessary, whereas others can be issued without a consultation. 

You can submit a request using the same contact methods as repeat prescriptions, however we will need a bit more information in order to issue it. This includes:

• Your name, date of birth and address
• The patient’s name, date of birth and address (if ordering for someone else)
• Medication name and strength
• Whether you have had this medication before
• What the medication is used to treat
