SystmConnect and Appointments

SystmConnect is available from 08:00 Monday to Friday for non-urgent queries and administration requests. It should not be used for urgent medical queries which need assessing today.
You do not need an account to use SystmConnect – scroll down past the login buttons when accessing the system.

For all medical concerns you will now be required to go through an assessment and triage process which can be done online, or a member of our team will take you through this in person.

Our GPs will assess your symptoms and direct you to the most appropriate clinician or service. Appointments will be bookable from on-the-day to two weeks ahead. If you require a home visit, please submit your request as early as possible and mention that you are housebound in your requrst.

SystmConnect should not be used for urgent queries.

Requests may not receive an immediate response, and will be dealt with in date order. Responses are generally sent via email or text message, so please let us know in the request if you would like to be contacted in a different way. 

If you are submitting on behalf of someone else, please enter their details so that we can match it with the patient record.

Use this tool if

  • You are over 16
  • You are under 16
  • You have a new or existing health problem that isn’t urgent for today
  • You are housebound (please let us know in your request)
  • You require a medication review

Do not use this tool if

  • There are life threatening symptoms – call 999.
  • You have an urgent health complaint which needs addressing today.

Non-urgent advice: Calling or visiting

You should be aware that if attending one of our reception desks to complete your triage, some of the questions may be of a personal nature. If you would rather discuss your concern in private please make a receptionist aware.

When you contact us online, please ensure that your name and your date of birth are entered correctly and provide as many details about your condition as you can. This will ensure that your request is managed as efficiently as possible.

When you attend an appointment, please ensure you attend the right place on the right day at the right time.

We are open online during working hours for administrative enquiries.
If you ring us seeking continuity of care for an existing condition, you will be seen.
If you have a long-term condition you can contact us using SystmConnect on this website.

Launch SystmConnect

When you submit an online request, it will be reviewed and our team will respond as soon as possible, but the time may depend on how busy we are and when you sent your request. Once we’ve reviewed your request, we’ll contact you to explain what will happen next. Sometimes, we may let you know that your request has been assessed and that we’ll be in touch the following day with more details about how it will be managed.

If you are uncertain as to whether your request is urgent you should always ring the surgery instead of using this system. If you are submitting on behalf of someone else, please enter their details so that we can match it with the patient record.
